The Louisiana Center for Health Equity (LCHE) Data & Action Platform, developed in collaboration with Aletheia Research Institute, embodies an innovative application of the health equity framework for institutional change (see phase I of the project here.) This platform, which underwent beta testing during a pilot phase (2023–2025), empowers stakeholders to consolidate health data and drive actionable solutions targeting Louisiana’s most vulnerable populations. The platform fosters collective action by integrating data into strategic decision-making processes that can yield measurable improvements in health outcomes.

At its core is the “Action Bank,” an interactive dashboard engineered by Technology Director Ana Duspara. This feature prioritizes communication and collaboration among LCHE stakeholders and a dedicated network of volunteers. Through this tool, users can combine fragmented data sources into resources for tangible interventions and policy recommendations that accelerate improvements to health equity. By centralizing resources and insights, the Data & Action Platform acts as a dynamic hub for ideation and implementation, reshaping how health disparities are addressed in Louisiana.
